Here’s the youth literature community doing what it does best: #collectiveresistance. In this instance, the community is coming together to provide immediate support for the Muslim community in Christchurch, New Zealand. I did not work to organize this event, but I want to do what I can to support this fund raising effort and I want my readers to be able to collect some of wonderful items available along the way.

The auctions and raffles will be open March 24th at 12:01 AM EST and close March 27th at 11:59 PM.

Rules for the auctions as posted on the site:

  • Every auction item will be posted separately
  • You can bid on the items by posting in the comments
  • Bidding on each item is open for three days
  • When the comments close, the highest bid is the winner
  • After bidding ends, you have 72 hours to donate the winning amount to
the United for Christchurch Mosque Shootings fundraiser, and send us proof of receipt

In addition to the auction, there are raffles, critiques, art, and other cool stuff.  Go, now! Bid! Buy! Let’s show the world what YA is really all about. If you have questions, contact the organizers  KidlitForChristchurch at Gmail dot com.
